Whilst in residency at The Royal Drawing School studios at Dumfries House, Scotland in April 2018, I began the Growth series. After a pause in my creative practice post graduation, the series has become a metaphor for my state of self, as well as challenging the concept of space on paper. Intuitively drawing geometric forms, I seek to bring them to life as they appear to morph on the page. The tension between order and chaos is ever present in my practice, a theme which became recurrent during my time as an undergraduate. This series is ongoing.
